R. Wesley Lauderback, DDS
A native of Johnson City, Tennessee, Dr. Wes Lauderback attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for his undergraduate degree and completed dental school at Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon graduation, he began his active duty service in the United States Army and was accepted into a 1 year post graduate AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington where he continued to develop his skills and knowledge under some of the Army’s best dental specialists.
During his service, he held multiple different positions, including the Brigade Dentist for 4th Brigade/25th Infantry Division where he was stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. During this assignment, he completed airborne training and a deployment to Afghanistan. He then served as a general dentist for two additional years.
After his military career, he accepted a job in private practice at Lucille Dental serving his community in Wasilla, Alaska. He and his family thoroughly enjoyed their time in Alaska and will never forget some of the world class hikes, hunts and fishing trips spent with the lifelong friends they made.
Dr. Lauderback is married to Angela and together they have three kids, Brayden, Avery and Jackson. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking with his family, golfing and cheering for Tennessee sports. He is very excited to be back home in East Tennessee and looking forward to serving your dental needs.
